Snoring

A common condition that occurs when airflow through the mouth or nose is partially blocked during sleep, causing the surrounding tissues to vibrate and create sound. It can happen due to relaxed throat muscles, nasal congestion, sleeping position or being overweight. While occasional snoring is usually harmless, frequent or loud snoring can disrupt sleep and may be a sign of a more serious condition like sleep apnea. Lifestyle changes, such as losing weight, sleeping on your side or using nasal strips, can help reduce snoring. If snoring is severe or affects daily life, medical evaluation is recommended.
