Asthma and Allergies
Asthma is a long-term condition where the airways in the lungs become swollen and tight, making it hard to breathe. Common signs include wheezing, coughing, chest tightness and shortness of breath. Allergies happen when the body reacts to things like pollen, dust or pet hair, causing sneezing, runny nose and itchy eyes. Allergies can make asthma worse. Asthma and allergies cause swelling inside the airways, so they need medicine and avoiding things that make symptoms worse to help you feel good and stay healthy.
