Interstitial Lung Diseases

A group of disorders that cause inflammation and scarring of the lungs. This scarring makes it harder for the lungs to work properly, leading to difficulty in breathing and reduced oxygen supply to the body. People with ILD often experience symptoms like dry cough, shortness of breath & fatigue. These conditions can develop due to long-term exposure to harmful substances like dust or chemicals, autoimmune diseases or unknown causes. Early diagnosis and proper treatment are important to slow the disease & improve quality of life.
